Athletic Trainers

Dedicated professionals who support well-being and optimize athletic performance through injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation

“What surprised me as an athletic trainer at The Ohio State University Medical Center was that there was actually a clinic position with normal weekday hours where I could still be involved with athletes and direct patient care. Many athletic training positions require longer weekly or weekend hours with sports coverage. These positions are still offered at OSU and many combine outreach coverage for sports with clinic work to break up the weekly schedule, but I wanted a more structured work week.”
